Below is a map of current Air-Stream Wireless access points located across Adelaide, this information will be updated when ever possible subject to conditions. For more information about accessing the network please read our Access Policy. For significantly more detailed information and tools members can log-on to the members only database. Information includes planning tools for node creation, IP & DNS allocations, mapping modules, WEP, terrain, satellite and LOS signal propagation prediction tools.
In the map seen below each dot represents a Node, which is the point where users connect into the network and where a router controls traffic between other nodes using Border Gateway Protocol (BGP).
Please note: Individual Client Nodes are not listed here, however each AP could support over 30 simultaneous client connections. Further each Node if required could also support three 11Mbps (802.11b) Access Points (AP) and four 54Mbps+ (802.11a) or 75Mbps (Nstream protocol) backbones subject to conditions.
