With the network growing rapidly to the North and soon the South we are starting to see the West beginning to blossom with activity. The West is one of the hardest areas in Adelaide to establish a wireless network but when people work together it is amazing what only a few people can achieve if they work together.
If you have a roof with views in the Western Suburbs and haven’t yet thought of joining the wireless community movement now has never been a better time…

Does this include the south west? (i.e. Mitchell Park area)?
I ask as I have several friends interested but they cannot, at present, see any A-S AP.
They would be willing to put up an AP but are flat-lying so it's pointless.
One has mentioned that he's quite happy to do a letterbox drop to the houses surrounding him if he could be given a suitable PDF to print (pro-forma with letterhead gfx, etc). He has stated there are several 2-storey homes close by that would have good LOS to the area and one is bound to be interested.

No luck with Pasadena? I used to live in Clovelly Park and picked it up fine.
Alternatively finding a site on the hills facing Marion would be awesome :)
I agree with the PDF - I reckon we could get some nice new APs from a letterbox drop.

Is the committee interested in just _where_ printed copies are 'letterbox dropped' ?
(to attempt a basic understanding of distribution)
Additionally, the only contact on the pdf is the web site and committee email address. Is this PDF new or has it existed for some time? If it's a 'free for all', the committee should be aware that any misuse will reflect poorly on the association.

The brochure has been available for some time, although it has had a number of face lifts over time and the map has been updated from time to time.
It has been made available for members or interested people to download and/or print out. As this has been a common request by a number of members.
Always happy to hear some feedback or more importantly get some copy or graphic design contributions. As with any community group like ours everything is subject to member involvement.
