Hey guys,
Just wondering if anyone else is having issues contacting the Air Stream mail server and web mail? Both Thunderbird and Firefox (web mail) cannot contact the mail server. Been 24 hrs same issue may just be my end just wanted confirmation before I begin looking into it much further.
Cheers Nick.

No problems
No Problems and I've been accessing it over G3 wireless in Mt Gambia, have yo emailed committee? I'd recommend you would be more likely to get a response then posting on the website.

Yep, problems here as well accessing mail via the internet ip, since about yesterday (12/12)..
As per Robert's mail a line dropped to the committee should see it looked into. Please remember the people involved volunteer their time - nonetheless they generally look into such issues with some priority.
Interestingly (as of 7am 13/12):
suzieq:~ betsuin$ nmap -p 995 mail.air-stream.org
PORT STATE SERVICE
995/tcp closed pop3s
suzieq:~ betsuin$ nmap -p 465 mail.air-stream.org
PORT STATE SERVICE
465/tcp closed smtps
Regards
All good.
Please in no way was it a gripe nor did I expect someone to drop everything and look at something as trivial as this. I honestly thought it would have more been my end. It appears to be back up and operating normally now. It wasn't an urgent matter so website seemed a good idea, not to mention with the amount of effort put into the site it needs a little more traffic :D.
To those that looked into it thank you hope it did not take to much of your time.
Cheers.
Thanks guys, unfortunately
Thanks guys, unfortunately we aren't likely to get your email because there is actually an issue. Access may be possible but will by no means be reliable if it works at all. Probably best at this time to just leave your mail clients offline to avoid any further problems.
I have posted on the front page: http://www.air-stream.org.au/mail-services-down-12-11-2009
We are waiting on physical access to the data centre. More info when it comes to hand.
Cheers. Troy.
