hey guys I have fired up the Fulham Gardens ap for those wanting to stumble it.
Its on a 15dbi omni, vertical polarized with a small amp running about 400mw ERP.
currently its only connected to my server pc 10.102.1.2 which is not too exiting but at least there is something on the end
clients have DHCP range 10.102.1.30 to 10.102.1.40
the omni will move up higher when the network team get here to do the full setup so AP performance will improve

no luck from Seaton (yet...)
I did a quick stumble from my omni AP and also from the Pasadena-Seaton backbone. Neither picked up Fulham AP.
no luck aswell
Did a quick stumble tonight, and wasn't able to see anything, when i get a chance i will try it with some better gear.
But should be putting up my rig in the comming weeks.
more work
TJ , I will swap the antenna to the dish and point it in your direction on Saturday, see if that helps.
I suspect either the Amp or the wireless radio has gone crook as the signal even here is lower that I expected, I'm tipping its the wireless as the amp is making a small difference.
Sebby the omni is a bit low for you to see it but the network team have all that in hand when the upgrade happens

not yet
sorry TJ did not get a chance to do the antenna on the weekend hopefully next weekend, weather dependent
help?
sing out if you need a hand Cougar. I generally have some free time on weekends, more then I used to, so I'd like to get back into doing more hands on stuff with Air-Stream
Fulham is a GO
yes Fulham is now finally a go it was completed on Saturday 31st and apart from some tweeking of software and some minor antenna tweeking from Highgate Pk still to be done the backbone is now online.
I believe TJ can see the Omni from his location with nothing more than a lappy at ground level
Seaton can also see the omni and with some panning of the dish the Seaton to Fulham link should be operational shortly.
Big Thankyou to DrGeoforce, Remy, and Shadey for their efforts and to the backroom boys like Troy, Duncan and others for the software and other assorted stuff and DJ and Rids who helped in the early stages of the Fulham Build.
As I said there is some further small tweeks to be done but all the really hard stuff is now completed
Go West rolls on!!

HTTP server down
due to the failure of the AT PSU in the HTTP server at Fulham (10.102.1.2) there is no services running until the PSU or PC is replaced. it was bound to happen, this tired old MMX 233 had to die sometime ;)
NOTE this does not affect connectivity via the AS Fulham node to the network or operation of the AP

PS Unit in Stock
Umm... have about 4 if you need one for a quick fix, 200W if I remember...
not worth it
thanks Ross but its not worth it, the server is not very important, nor does it have much in the way of interesting or often viewed files on it.
it will have to wait till someone has free upgrade machine they don't want a P1 666 or something LOL
