I was wondering if anyone knows of a company in Adelaide that sells LMR400 by the metre. Electruc bug want to sell me the cellfoam "rg58" size cable for a 2-3 mtr tail between the LDF4-50 and the antenna on the rotatable section of the tower!!
I could use RG213 MIL SPEC but with the MW powers we play with I would rather use something with less loss at 2.4Ghz

I only need 3 mtrs for a tail between the LDF4-50 end and the antenna which I am going to move up onto the rotatable section of the tower as soon as I have the cable (I have N connectors here) and the wind allows. that should get the Pacmon up to about 9, 9.5 mtr mark and being rotatable (all be it using an Armstrong rotator LOL) I can check out more options for a backbone and with luck see woody west as well.

I recently bought LMR-400 cable from Hills located at Edwardstown just off of South Rd. The cost was $7.70/mtr (inc. GST) - not the cheapest that I have found but the $5.50 stuff is out of Sydney and they charge for the shipping - good if you want a longish length...
You can e-mail Donna at Hills to see if they have any in stock. They had just bought a 100metre length when I purchased my 4metres - that was about 3 months ago.
