Friday, July 27th, 2007, is the 8th annual System Administrator Appreciation Day. On this special international day, give your System Administrator something that shows that you truly appreciate their hard work and dedication.
Consider all the daunting tasks and often outside normal daylight hours. Let's be honest, sometimes we don't even know our System Administrators as well as they know us. Remember this is one day to recognize our System Administrators for their contribution, so why not thank them for all the things they do for you.

Wow
Didnt know we had a day...
might be a bit big headed to promote this day for ourselves? :)
It needs to be said though
Having employed many sys admins and coders over the years and being a pseudo admin on occasions myself I feel many people take this roll for granted. So I think it is important to promote it as much as we can.
