G'day, I'm a student currently undertaking year 11 and an active participant in the expansion of the SA WAN (see full blog post)
For me year 12 is just around the corner, and one of my subject choices is extension studies. This course offers me an open ended year long research project, and during the next term I have to pick and begin the project.
While browsing the site I came across the Digital Divide Project, and added it to the list of possible projects to undertake. Since then the prospect if taking on this project has become more appealing, as it involves doing something worth while for the community, while undertaking the course.

Repercussions
Benefits of the infrastructure
Cost Construction of AP's and nodes
Wireless "how to"
Wireless theory
Looking at and comparing IT rich and poor communities...
This is just a quick look at the areas that I could investigate… Any help and information would be much appreciated.
