Well I have my antenna and gear mounted cheers to extreme for the kit assembly. I've got it pointed at Earc-0 and logged on via winbox can see a -66db signal. My issue at the moment is the security profile I'm trying to create requires an 8 character wep key pass word but the password indicated on the host via the node information is not 8 characters.
Basically I'm stuck at getting a connect to the Ap so I can can learn my way through testing my bridging and ip addresses.
I suspect it's way more complicated than it seems but considering the amount of knowledge I started with I've gotten way further than I expected.
So hit me with any suggestions or maybe a screen print of winbox with the correct details for an Earc-0 connect?

The wep key is on the members database and is correct.
iirc You need to enter the
