The AGM is more than an opportunity to thank our members and vote in a new committee it is also a time to review and celebrate what we have achieved together. The last year has seen not only a record number of new members, but also increased coverage, new systems, bandwidth and participation. Multiple ASLAN events are planned to be held each calendar year. The next will be held on the 27th of December. Comps Now Announced! Tickets no longer on sale from outlets, remaining tickets at the door, at commencement of event Limited tickets available - get in fast! (tickets will be on sale until 23rd December, remainder available at the door) As usual (well not quite) ASLAN is being held at the Mawson Centre, for longer than ever, from 10am until midnight. That's 14 hours of lanning goodness all for the small cost of $15 Get your tickets at either Chase Computer Repairs in Mawson Lakes or Photech Computers in Enfield. Here's hoping the new year is keeping you well and the heat has not been a bane on all of your wonderfully strange electronic projects. After an elongated Christmas break Dorkbot is back and set to be even bigger and better in 2009 as we slowly find our feet and crank into gear for another season of electric oddity. This year we'll be holding meetings on Sunday evenings so you never have to dash from work again, and we'll be holding them quarterly so you'll always have something to look forward to. more info
