International Summit for Community Wireless Networks 2008

The New America Foundation, CUWiN Foundation, the AAAS Science and Human Rights Program, and the Acorn Active Media Foundation will be hosting the annual International Summit for Community Wireless Networks in Washington, DC on May 28-30, 2008.

Every meeting ends with plenty of time to chat freely with other members about all things wireless and participate in one of Australia's best wireless Swap Meets.

dorkbotadelaide is apart of a new worldwide movement of people who meet to explore and discuss strange or new ways to use electricity and technology. The very first meeting of dorkbotadelaide will be held on Sunday 29th June 2008 and anyone with a genuine interest into doing something different is welcome to attend.

ASLAN (Air-Stream LAN) is a lanning event for gaming fun and also to promote the presence of the Air Stream wireless community in the Northern suburbs of Adelaide. Multiple ASLAN events are planned to be held each calendar year. The next will be held on the 19th of July.

As usual ASLAN is being held at the Mawson Centre from 10am until 10pm. That's 12 hours of lanning goodness all for the small cost of $10 payable at the door!
