International Summit for Community Wireless Networks 2008

The New America Foundation, CUWiN Foundation, the AAAS Science and Human Rights Program, and the Acorn Active Media Foundation will be hosting the annual International Summit for Community Wireless Networks in Washington, DC on May 28-30, 2008.

More information will be forthcoming at wirelesssummit.org in coming weeks.

Anyone is invited to bring "any" project you are currently working on and tell people about them, or just look at what other people have brought along. Its a great fun day for those with a technical interest to experiment, talk about and learn what other people are doing. Power and Internet access is available so why not just hang out with a laptop or two.

ASLAN (Air-Stream LAN) is a lanning event for gaming fun and also to promote the presence of the Air Stream wireless community in the Northern suburbs of Adelaide. Multiple ASLAN events are planned to be held each calendar year. The next will be held on the 22nd of March.

As usual ASLAN is being held at the Mawson Centre from 10am until 10pm. That's 12 hours of lanning goodness all for the small cost of $10 payable at the door!
