The BeigeG3 is starting to feel the strain and has fallen over in the heat - ouch!
I'll try reseating all components, the box has been sitting there a while now however hot days may well see Air-Stream-betsuin down.
Guess the new year might see me looking for a new box - maybe time to grab a new Mac and stick the G4 tower at the top of the stairs, it's got enough PCI slots and has OpenFirmware2 which makes dealing with Debian simpler.

Hope this doesn't sound too much like a commercial plug, but Asptech has a whole shed full of low-cost surplus computers P4s, G4 macs and many rack mount dual cpu servers, most end up as e-wast. Just make an offer and tell them Robert said to give you a good deal, unfortunately they are closed until the 15th.
