LinuxSA Meeting - 18 September 2007 - Air-Stream Wireless

Air-Stream Wireless will be doing a presentation at the next LinuxSA meeting on 18 September 2007.

Air-Stream Wireless is the first and largest community group in South Australia to successfully build a Wide Area Network (WAN) using wireless in combination with free and open source technologies.

Quite a large turnout at the meeting. Troy and I managed to fill 90 minutes in an ad-hoc presentation consisting of an introduction to Air-Stream Wireless, a history of Air-Stream installations and an overview of community outdoor wireless. There were also some good questions and the evening was topped off with pizza in town.
